1 Chronicles 29:20

“你儅剛強壯膽，不要懼怕，也不要驚慌，因爲耶和華 神，就是我的 神，與你同在。他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。“ 歷代記上28：20

The above verse was taught to me by my grandmother. Once, a window pane from an above floor dropped to her floor. She was then asked to go to the police station to provide her testimony. Being the old lady who did not know what exactly is going on, she was frightened and her instinct was to flip open the bible and this was the verse she saw, soothing her. And she shares of this experience to all her grandchildren to this day.

In fact, the above verse has an additional line at the end. However, my grandmother has just read to that part and then the policeman asked her if she was ready to go, distracting her, thus she never read till the end of the verse, which is ,”直到耶和華殿的工作都完畢了。” Which is not relevant anyway.

That verse has become a very important verse in my life. I am not one who likes to take risk in the past and do not like “new environments”. However, that above verse was what got me to be mentally prepared for NS, Hong Kong work attachment, etc, etc. Whenever a big challenge was presented to me, this verse had also helped me through it. Indeed, God is and will forever be with me, and will not leave me.

Hello everyone, Billy here. As of now this blog has been started but not updated at all except for a few trials here and there. This seems like a big waste of potential so let’s start it again! From now onwards, I will update frequently on this blog on whatever is on my mind. Hopefully this can continue and others of BLC can visit to this webby also.
